I was planning to visit Ladakh from long time but was unable to visit due to work commitments but I finally visited and the decision to visit this place was really worth it.I visited Ladakh with my family in the month of May and the experience was unforgettable I was amazed with the beauty and culture of the place.

So we started our journey by boarding an early morning flight from Mumbai Airport then we landed at Delhi and then boarded our connecting flight and landed at Leh airport, then we went to our hotel got fresh and got into the car that we hired for our entire tour. Firstly we visited Shey Palace where royal family of Ladakh use to stay, after that we proceeded to Himalayan Buddhist monastery it is believed to be the wealthiest and the biggest monastery in Leh then we went to our next location in between we took a stop at Thiksey monastery for photography. After that we went back to our hotel.

Today we visited Hall of Fame War Museum  and after that we proceeded to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass “world’s highest motor able pass”. Then after reaching Nubra Valley we visited Maitreya Buddha there is a big colourful statue of Buddha over her. Then we visited Hunder Village and Cold desert u will find double humped camels over here. After that we went to see a Local Cultural show which showcased there tradition and the show was awesome then we had a night stay inside the tent.

Next Day we left for Pangong we reach over there by evening after reaching Pangong we visited Pangong lake it is worlds highest saltwater lake and we got so lucky that we spotted Rare black necked cranes which are very rare to see. We were tired as we travelled a long distance so we decided to go to our tent that we booked and take a rest.

Next day in the morning we visited the lake again and saw the amazing sunrise. Then we left for Kargil on the way we saw Magnetic Hill – also known as Gravity Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity, after that we saw Confluence of the rivers Indus & Zanskar. Then we visited Lamayuru Monastery. We reached Kargil in the night.

In the morning we travelled to Drass and saw Drass War Memorial built in the memory of the martyr soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War, i literally got goosebumps and felt proud after visiting over here then we clicked few pictures and proceeded to leh.

Time to say goodbye. Finally time to leave the beautiful place with lots of good memories I am definitely going to miss the beautiful views. It is a must visit place and I hope that I will be visiting over here again and discover and visit new places that I was unable to visit this time and would recommend everyone to visit over here.
